About the Workshop
Deer Folks will be hosting a beginner-friendly workshop which will be a perfect kick-start to an enriching embroidery journey. This workshop will be in a small and intimate environment so as to ensure that you will get sufficient assistance (1 instructor : up to 6 students). Do note that the workshop will be held at Deer Folks' home studio (air-conditioned).
In this workshop, we will provide you with hands-on experience with stitching your own piece of work but please note that you may not finish it within the time frame. We will be going through the tools and techniques, including 6 basic stitches, that are essential to creating your own piece. Participants will also be able to bring back:
- 4” sampler piece
- 6” piece of their own
- A basic kit (needle and needle threader)
- Thread colours of their choice
- A Deer Folks’ guide on embroidery
The participants will be stitching a 6" piece in the Floral Border + Lettering design (similar to the one in this listing). You will be able to personalise it with a sentence of your choice (max 8 words in any language). We will be emailing you for confirmation of the sentence.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, you will be required to:
1. Scan Safe-Entry upon arrival
2. Take temperature upon arrival
3. Wear your mask throughout the workshop
